The Cosy Companion Cowl was inspired by two beautiful yarns from Fyberspates. The supersoft Cumulus, which combines Baby Suri Alpaca and Silk; along with stunningly soft but durable merino/silk blend which is Scrumptious 4 ply, to create the softest and cosiest fabric.

The pattern uses one colour of each yarn held double, so you can let your imagination run wild. With such a large variety of colours in both Scrumptious and Cumulus, there are more than a 1000 combinations to choose from. Take a look on the Purlescence website at photos of some our favourites to inspire you or choose your own.

The Cosy Companion is a the perfect quick knit and makes the ideal gift, and of course you’ll want one for yourself too!

The kit contains 1 skein of Scrumptious 4 ply and 2 balls of Cumulus along with a download code for the pattern.

As well as the yarn, you’ll also need a 60cm (24”)/ 4mm (US 6) circular needle to knit in the round, and a stitch marker.
