A super cosy sister to the original Always Joy Cardi. This cardigan is designed to have an oversized comfortable fit with a choice of length so you can suit your personal style as well as a choice between loose fitting long sleeves or armhole trim so it can be worn as a classic cardigan or a vest. This garment is intended to be worn with 4 to 6 inches of ease across the bust.
Constructed in a unique manner, starting with shoulder panels worked horizontally with the front and back of the cardigan added from here until joined at the underarm. From here, the length is easily customisable to suit your style before the addition of the bottom ribbing. A neckline trim is added along with fastenings of your choice. The pattern has instructions to add 4 buttons to the cropped version and 6 to the full length version. The sleeves are worked directly onto the armholes meaning there is minimal need for seaming. Finally, optional pockets can be made separately and sewn onto the front of your cardi.
