Cote de Lynmouth Blanket
When I was a teenager my parents had a house in the South of France on the Cote d’Azur.
I live on Exmoor, high on a sea cliff overlooking the small seaside village of Lynmouth. On a sunny summer’s day when the temperature is hot, the sea is turquoise and the palm trees are gently swaying in the wind, Lynmouth feels like I am back in the South of France again.
Measurement
Cote de Lynmouth measures approx. 43 x 44 inches
It is made with a triangle motif, which weighs 2 gms and measures approx. 2.5 inches along each side.
As this is a blanket your motifs don’t need to be the exact measurements.
However, if you feel they are far too small use a bigger hook and if they are far too big use a smaller hook
You will need
1000 gms approx of 4 ply/fingering yarn in total
Including 50 gms of edging colour, (I have used dark turquoise - F).
Crochet hook in size 3 mm, or size needed for your tension.
A sewing needle for sewing in ends.
Circular knitting needle for storing yarn. recommended size - 100 cm long cable, size 2 to 3 mm needle.
The pattern contains detailed colour and yarn recommendations
Written and charted Motif instructions in US and UK terms.
