The dress is started working from the top down. The front is made separately, then back and shoulders. Then front and back pieces are connected and the dress is continued in the round.
The body of the dress is made of three sections separated by a ruffle. A ruffle is worked in the front loop of the sc from a previous row at the beginning of each three sections. The yarn is fastened off after the three rows of ruffle is completed and joined below at the base of the ruffle. The main
body of the dress is worked into the back loop of the same sc row as a ruffle.
