Finished Size of 0 – 3 Months Beanie: 5 inches tall (before adding pompon) and 6 inches wide

Finished Size of Small Beanie (fits ages 6 months to 2 years): 7 inches tall (before adding pompon) and 7 1/2 inches wide

Finished Size of Medium Beanie (fits ages 2 years to 10 years): 8 1/2 inches tall (before adding pompon) and 8 1/2 inches wide

Finished Size of Large Beanie (fits 10 years to Adult): 10 inches tall (before adding pompon) and 8 1/2 inches wide

Gauge:

Bottom and Top Slip Stitch Ribbing for All Beanies: 4 inches = 10 1/2 ribs

Body of All Beanie: 4 inches wide = 9 ribs (18 rows )

Special Notes:

This pattern uses US Crochet Terminology.

This stitch pattern used for the body of the hat is made using a Stitch Multiple of any number.

This pattern makes a very stretchy finished hat.

Materials Needed:

The yarn featured in this pattern is called Mary Maxim “Sugar Baby Stripes”. The color way that I used is called “Cotton Candy”. This yarn is a #3 weight yarn, and is made of 100% Acrylic. Care = Machine Washable and Dryable. Wash using gentle/delicate cycle for 2 minutes. Tumble dry using low heat for maximum of 5 minutes. Remove from dryer and lay flat to dry. Do not dry clean. Each skein is 100 g/3.5 oz and 295 yards.

Yarn Amount Needed for Each Beanie:

0 -3 months size: 102 yards

Small Size: 145 yards

Medium Size: 204 yards

Large Size: 230 yards
