The Cotton Chevron Cowl does not need a border as the design pulls the knitting up into peaks that give a decorative edge top and bottom.

With a stitch repeat of 13 in the round, and a pattern comprising of only 2 rounds, this is an easy knit where the number of colours you choose and the width of the stripes will make your cowl unique.

Cotton does not stretch and lacks drape, so make sure the circumference fits your head measurement. Simple instructions are included to make a wider cowl.

The Cotton Chevron Cowl was test knitted 1) in a solid colour wool which shows how easily it would add to your wardrobe; and 2) exotically tested by Meg with 3 lots of 2 different wool types held together to match the ply and use her stash (6 yarns in total). It has glorious drape.
