Cotton Jumpers are Still in Favor
by Table Talk
This pattern is
available for free.
THE cotton jumper has proved its worth in our wardrobes by its smartness and the way it washes and washes and still retains its good appearance. This attractive style is carried out in scarlet and string color, and looks most attractive with a costume in any of the beige tonings.
Material Required—4 balls No. 5 Semco Pearl cotton in linen and 2 balls of scarlet, 1 pair No. 11 needles.
Size—To fit 32 in. bust.
Note—For 34 in. bust use No. 10 needles. The design is easily adjusted to fit any measurement, by increasing the depth and width of the stocking stitch portion.
Instead of working across in the usual manner, this jumper is knitted up and down from shoulder to waist, the yoke and waist being in striped garter stitch of scarlet and linen.
