You will need to be able to:
Slip Stitch (slst)
Single crochet (sc)
Double crochet (dc)
Triple crochet (tc)

A puff stitch is used for the body of the hat. It is a combination of dcs, described in detail in the pattern.

The pattern includes instructions and photos for newborn through adult sizes. There are instructions for a ruffled brim, a straight brim, and a 3-layer 5-petaled flower.

For infant and toddler sizes, you will need 1 (2oz) skein of Lily Sugarn’ Cream in solid and 1 (2oz) skein of Lily Sugarn’ Cream in variegated or solid #2.
For child and adult sizes, you will need 2 (2oz) skeins of Lily Sugarn’ Cream in solid and 1 (2oz) skein of Lily Sugarn’ Cream in variegated or solid #2.

A tapestry needle is helpful, but not required, for weaving in ends.
