Cotton-Tail Pinwheel, the third in my Celebration Pinwheel Doily Collection, is a textured doily using front post and back post double crochet stitches and 8 cute little popcorns to make the bunny’s tail. The lines are crisp with a lot of visual impact. I used size 10 thread and 2 hook sizes (1.75mm and 1.5mm). The final round is done using the smaller sized hook in order to help the border flatten out. Cotton-Tail Pinwheel measures 15-17 inches in diameter and uses about 450 yds of size 10 thread.
The pattern is presented in 2 columns as I find that easier to track from the end of one line to the beginning of the next line. I also show the round repeats in red to facilitate easy reading.
This is a perfect design for Easter.
