Adorable fun beach bag project with thorough detailed instruction. Includes photo tutorial help for joining, crab stitch and making the handles. Maybe a great project for beginners. Uses hdc and sc stitch and working in the round technique.

Materials needed :

• Bernat Handicrafters Cotton in strawberry shortcake approx.
400 m, green approx. 100m and a small amount of white and black
• 5mm crochet hook
• Crazy glue or hot glue
• Darning needle
• 1 meter of boring (a plastic they use in bras etc… I found mine at Fabricland)
Optional – cording for the handles for strength. I found it just fine without it.

Sizes provided by this pattern… one size

Gauge: Ch. 12.
Row 1 – Hdc in the second ch from the hook and across.
Rows 2 – 8 – Ch2, turn. Hdc in the same st, and each across.

Gauge = 7 or 8 sts and 6 or 7 rows in 2” x 2”.
