Cottontail Socks
Hopping Little Rabbit
Through the grass she bounds,
Past snowdrops
And daffodils,
To her home, in the mound.
The sun lights her cottontail
Through the willow veil,
It follows in her steps
Between the roots,
To where she dwells. by Polly Thomas
