Could this be love in a mist?

Could this be love? The lacy, feathery pattern of the flower Love in a Mist, knit into a warm hug around the neck, has me swooning.
This moebius, colorwork cowl starts with a provisional crochet cast-on, and is knit in the round, making a long tube. The ends of the tube are then twisted (moebius) and joined with Kitchener stitch. (I provide links to video tutorials for both.)
The sample is knit using Farmer’s Daughter Fibers Recollect and Spincycle Yarns Dyed in the Wool, but any sport-weight yarns will work. The changing colors of Spincycle Dyed in the Wool are magical, but you can substitute handspun or some other gradient yarn. Even a solid or two of your choosing will make those flowers sing.
Size:
One size in width: 10 inches laid flat (doubled, since it is knit in the round.)
Length is up to you. I knit two pattern repeats for a total of 30 inches long, before grafting. You could do a third repeat, if desired.
Yarn:
Farmer’s Daughter Fibers Recollect (sport weight): 500 yards (3 skeins)
Spincycle Yarns Dyed in the Wool (sport weight): 250 yards (2 skeins)
Needles:
Size US 5/3.75 mm, 16-inch circular needle. You will need two needles of the same size to join the two ends together.
Notions:
Tapestry needle, stitch markers, crochet hook
Gauge: 24 stitches and 26 rows equals 4 inches/10 cm. in pattern
This is part of the Love in a Mist collection, including the Love in a Mist sweater. The Misty hat will be out in September.
