I fell in love with the yarn first, a lone skein of subtle moss to mediterranean blue. Then was delighted by the pointed ribbed checkerboard that this pattern eventually sprung from.
Every round has a smaller rib repeat, and the increase makes for an interesting bind off.

US5 (3.75mm) 24” - 32” circular needles
Gauge - 6 stitches & 8 rows =1” in K3, P3 rib
Finished size is about 6.5” x 40”
a Hanging Row Counter is very helpful.
