Counting Sheep Hot Water Bottle Cover
This is a pattern for my Counting Sheep Knitted Hot Water Bottle Cover - a really cute and quick knit, which would make a great gift for someone, or use to keep your own toes warm this autumn and winter!
Knit from the bottom up, the pattern uses Judy’s Magic Cast On - I have included a link in the pattern for a youtube tutorial for this cast on method. The finished cover will fit a standard 1 litre size hot water bottle - there is also a link in the pattern for purchasing the same hot water bottle I used.
I have used Drops Lima DK yarn in Orchid, Dark Ivy, Jeans Blue, Beige Mix and Off White for my sample. Drops have since discontinued Orchid, but Purple Mix would be a good substitute. 1 skein each of Purple and Green along with very small amounts of blue, brown and white (just 5g each) will be more than enough to knit one cover.
I purchase all my yarn from WoolWarehouse and if you use my discount code (FDWL10) you can get 10% off full price yarns on their website.
As always, if you have any questions, send me a message,
Happy Knitting! x
