As I was aching for colder weather this fall, my designer’s mind ventured to a snowy mountain, where one might be searching out the perfect Christmas tree. Having been a challenger in Round 2 of the Battle of the Stitches - which used the triangle stitch - I immediately thought of representing pine trees using that same stitch! And instead of doing multiple rows of the “trees”, I wanted it to be the focus. So I surrounded it with a country red, and off white, making little “snow” spots above the trees. I hope you enjoy making it and/or wearing it!
