The inspiration for this set came when I preparing my stall for the Lot et laine, a wool festival in the south of France. As we did camping, I needed something small and lightweight to take with me, which I could use on a table or on the lawn.

The placemat, mug cosy and cutlery bag are knitted with a pure wool yarn and felted in the washing machine. The plate is knitted in a cotton yarn and could be easily washed when necessary or you can use it after lunch or dinner as a dish washcloth.
The plate and the cutlery bag are fixed with a press button on the placemat and could be easily removed.
The mug cosy has an inside pocket, where you can store your tea bag and sugar. It holds the placemat folded.
