Country Roads
We travel to the peaceful quiet and winding roads of the country, with the changing colors of the season around us. Gentle rolling hills and twisting paths lead us into our journey. Travelling down the road with a cooler breeze along our hand and the peaceful quiet of the fields and forests, a country estate or bed-and-breakfast over the horizon. We settle into the gentle rhythm and enjoy the moment.
Country Roads is a seamlessly knit sweater, worked from the bottom up, in the round to the underarm. The front and back are then worked separately back and forth, before joining the shoulders with a 3-needle bind-off. The sleeves are knit seamlessly from the top down to the cuff, with the aid of size-specific charts. Finally, the neckband is picked up and knit.
The pattern includes both charted and written directions, color-coded according to sizes. US and metric measurements.
