Country Waffles Hat
If you would like to be the first to hear about new pattern releases, get special subscriber only discounts, and generally keep in touch with Knitwise Design, you may want to sign up for my newsletter: News and Notes from Knitwise Design.
Country Waffles Hat is a classic cap with lots of woolly texture - handsome on both men and women. You knit this hat back and forth - no dpns needed at all! Seam stitches at the edges make for easy seaming with a barely noticeable seam. A quick-to-knit project in aran weight yarn (slightly heavier than worsted weight). There are 4 sizes included so you can knit hats for the whole family before the snow flies!
This pattern is appropriate for a beginning knitter who can knit, purl and work basic increases and decreases. A perfect first hat project since it is knit flat. There is a video link included to demonstrate the mattress stitch used for seaming. Pattern is 3 pages long and has been test knit and professionally tech edited to be clear and free of errors.
