This pattern is dedicated to the countryside and farm live.
It is a cute two color beanie and as it only uses two colors throughout the whole project it is also suitable for stranded knitting beginners.
It has a two color ribbing, followed by a little border pattern symbolizing farm houses and trees.
After that comes a band of farmer and his wife in a paper doll style.
Then there is a little wave-border with goose and ducks.
At the top is a fence, followed by 7 cocks and another tiny fence that gives the crown a great look!

I knitted it completely in 4-ply sock yarn. But you can also use Acrylic or Merino yarn of similar weight.
For bigger heads go up one or two needle sizes and/or use 5-ply yarn or both.

I needed about 35 g of each color. So it can be knitted from sock yarn leftovers.

Das Landleben fasziniert mich einfach. Deshalb hab ich diese zweifarbige Mütze entworfen.
Da “nur” zwei Farben verwendet werden, eignet sich diese Mütze auch für Fair Isle Neulinge.
Sie hat einen zweifarbigen Bund, eine kleine symbolisierte Bauernhof und Baum Bordüre. Im Anschluß folgen der Bauer und die Bäuerin. Eine kleine Wellenbordüre mit Enten und Gänsen kommt als nächstes. Dann ein Zaun und obendrauf sind 7 Hähne und nochmals ein kleines Zaunstück, was einen schönen Abschluß ergibt.
Die Mütze ist komplett in 4-fach Sockenwolle gestrickt.
Es genügen ca. 35 g pro Farbe.
Für größere Köpfe verwendet bitte eine größere Nadelstärke und/oder 5-fach Garn (z.B. Wollbutt Madeleine Merino).
