Every holiday season I try to knit hats for my older brother (the only one in my family who really wears them). This year I was extremely pressed for time and threw this one together at the last minute. I based this square-top hat on my Jacques Cousteau shawl and it turned out great, so much so that I also knit one for my brother-in-law (little brother got a different hat, pattern to follow soon).

Pattern is worked bottom up, and includes written and charted instructions.
