We have all seen the patterns for knitted masks. But what are you to do when you have an essential errand to run, and realize that you have no way to sanitize your hands? Use a hand cover! This fingerless hand cover knits up quickly, and is conveniently kept on your arm to slide down over your hand. Use it to open doors, pick up bags, handle cash or cards, and other transactions when hand washing or hand sanitizing is not immediately available.

The hand cover only uses ~50 yards of yarn, making it a great stash buster.

Gauge is just a guideline- it is easy to make the hand cover larger or smaller, depending on the yarn you use.

I recommend using a machine washable yarn for ease of cleaning, but that is just a personal preference.
