Thank you for stopping by and checking out our project. We have embarked on a journey that I hope you’ll want to take part in. We are constructing a Covid_19 Memorial Blanket, we know this is far from over, however the enormity of the blanket requires us getting a good start, and rallying all of those who would like to help knit a square.

This is the main pattern square.

The Blanket:
Made up of almost 9000 individual, standardized hand knit squares.
Made with Berroco Vintage yarn. Any colour can be used. We have reserved colour #5125 to represent Frontline/Essential Workers.
Assembled as one large art installation Blanket. The blanket will travel throughout Canada as a memorial to all of the Canadians who have lost their lives due to Covid_19. We can not forget these beautiful citizens. So many have gotten lost in isolation, removed from family and loved ones. Their memory should not fade in isolation.
The names of each person will be loving stitched to each square.

Your name, address, and email address. (Your personal information will not be released) For the purpose of the memorial book, only your name and general location, ie) province, will be included. If you wish not to have your name NOT published, please let us know.
