This 9 pages pattern contains detailed explanations in English that allow you to make this cow beanie hat by using the crochet technique. There are pictures to guide you along the way. This pattern requires sewing the horns and ears to the beanie.

Level of difficulty : Intermediate.

Stitches used (US terminology) : single crochet, half double crochet, chain, slip stitch.

Materials needed :

• 6 mm hook
• Super bulky yarn : 200g (velvet)
• Yarn needle
• Stitch marker
• Scissors
• Stuffing
• Optional: pins

Size :

The pattern is adult size. It is important to use the right yarn weight and hook to get the right size. I used super bulky velvet yarn (see the pictures for thickness reference). If you only have thinner yarn, you can try to double it in order to get the same thickness.

Gauge : 10 stitches X 11 rounds = 4 inches / 10 cm (worked over half double crochet).
