I received an email from a dairy farmer in Canada, asking if I would consider making a cow mini lovey blankie pattern. Her request so inspired me to create not just a cow lovey blankie, but also a larger cow and rattle/bottle buddy. So here is my tribute to the dairy farmers of the world! Except for the ears and the blanket, these cows are KNIT IN THE ROUND, using Magic Loop (or DPNs could be substituted), using #4-worsted weight yarn, so there are NO seams to sew up!! The large cow sits approx. 10” and the lovey blankie is 12” square, perfect for little hands to easily take along. The ring rattle could be used alone and also fits on a bottle for meal-time fun! With their darling faces, these make great gifts and you don’t have to be a dairy farmer to love them!
