It’s knitted flat and is one piece and totally seamless. The color changes are done using intarsia with up to 5 color sources at one time. The knitting stitches are simple, you just need to be adventurous about working with multiple sources of yarn at the same time.

The Butt part is optional, and is sewn on.

The Cow Butt Coaster is knit from the legs up to the tail. When you cast off, weave in your ends and block it AND YOU ARE DONE.
