Cowboy Ear Flaps
When a cowboy comes to you and asks you to make him ear warmers………
It’s hard, because they wear custom fit hats……
So I had to sit down and design an ear warmer that would be just below the inner band.
I came up with a design and the cowboy was really happy with it.
He asked me to make a couple more.
He also named the ear warmers:
Cowboy Ear Flaps
The Cowboy Ear Flaps has a really tight fit. This is to prevent it from sliding down over the eyes.
Because I made it with a yarn that contains 20% wool, and because those cowboys work hard in harsh temperatures, the heat will escape through the forehead. For those who don’t like the feel of wool, I came up with a plan to make it “bearable”.
it would also be perfect for under a cap
It’s a really simple and fun project.
