About: This fun project works up quickly and requires only basic crochet skills.

Sizing: The pattern is written to fit adult cats and pointy eared miniature dog breeds. These hats generally fit cats 7lbs and above. The finished hat measurements are included in the pattern.

Construction: You will be working in the round from the top down.

Materials Needed:

• 4.5mm / G / 7 crochet hook
• Darning needle for finishing
• Approx. 75 yrds Bulky weight yarn in brown (or color of your choice)
• Optional: >2 yards of worsted weight in contrast color for the band Note: if you don’t have chunky yarn, you can substitute 2 strands of DK crocheted together. The weight is important as the thicker yarn helps the hat keeps its shape.
