Summertime is playtime. And what more traditional game can you knit for than Cowboys and Indians? Here is a pattern for a toy gun holster (with belt, if needed), and brightly colored Indian headbands. These knit up very fast, so your little good guys and bad guys can get to playing quickly.

Pattern calls for:
For Holster: 1 skein of Patons Classic Wool Merino (100% pure new wool, 223yds/204m, 3.5oz/100g) color Dark natural mix
For Headbands: partial skeins of Valley Yarns Sugarloaf (52% fine merino wool/48% Acrylic microfiber, 50g, 81yds) various colors (or bits of whatever worsted yarn you have on hand)
