Cowgirl sweatshirt is a seamless, easy and addictive knitting project for both beginners and those with skilled talent who just want that extra fast knitting sweatshirt that match your jeans and your boots in a casual way.

The fit is classic, with some ease over bust/chest.
You knit on circular needles, bottom up, starting with ribbing and there after stockinette knitting with dropped stitches together with a classic V-lining ribbing.

Sleeves are casted on as you work with cable cast on and is tightened at the cuffs by German short rows. Front sleeves and back sleeves are knitted together at the end by a 3-needle bind off.

Yarn:
Fingering weight or sock yard.

Shown in:
4 ply Delux sock yarn, 85% superwash extrafine merio wool and 15% nylon, 400m/100g.

Yardage:
Total yardage is 1500, 1700, 1900 (2100, 2250, 2450) 2650, 2850, 3050 m, or 1640, 1860, 2075 (2300, 2460, 2680) 2900, 3120, 3340 yds.

Gauge:
19 sts / 25 rows = 10 cm in stockinette stitch (measured after blocking) on needles 5 mm / US 8

Needles:
US 8/5 mm circular needles of (or size needed to obtain gauge). The gauge will affect the result (size and yarnage).
US 6/4 mm needles for ribbing
Length of circular needles: 2 cables of 80 cm and 1 cable of 40 cm

Extras:
10 stitch markers
