Is it a cowl? Is it a poncho? Its both!

Cowl-a-bunga is a versatile, lightweight cowl that can act as both cowl and poncho, and is an easy accessory to throw on for in-between weather.

I held together a strand each of beautiful Hedgehog Fibres Sock and Kidsilk Lace in the same colorway at a pretty loose gauge, which makes this cowl a really speedy knit that flows off your needles.

If you’re substituting yarn, you just need one precious 100g skein of sock/fingering weight yarn, and one 50g skein of mohair. Have fun mixing colours!

Needles:
4.5mm/US Size 7 circular needle (50cm/20in long recommended)
5mm/US Size 8 circular needle (50cm/20in long recommended, and 60cm/24in long-optional)

Notions: Stitch markers & tapestry needle

Yarn:
Hedgehog Fibres Sock yarn (or similar 4ply/fingering weight yarn to achieve gauge)
Hedgehog Fibres Kidsilk Lace yarn (or similar 2ply/laceweight yarn to achieve gauge)
Colours Pictured (both): Sari

Finished Size:
Finished cowl measures approx. 46cm/18in in circumference at the top, and 76cm/30in long at its longest point (down the centre middle)
