Cowl Be Back is a performance sized cowl meant to fit close to the neck, as a piece that can easily be kept on under a closed jacket. At this size, it can also be folded in half and worn as an earwarmer/headband. This is a simple knit/purl texture in a chevron pattern, which makes it a great beginner pattern.

Cowl Be Back is written to use almost an exact skein of each of the recommended yarns. If possible, weigh your skein before starting to make sure it is a full 150 (100)g skein. If your chosen skein is short a few grams or you don’t have the ability to weigh it, I recommend doing one fewer pattern repeats (as stated in the pattern).
