Cowl Neck Poncho
I spent a very long time on this pattern perfecting it and I hope that you enjoy it as much as I have.
It is relatively quick and easy to memorize. It’s simple stitches only look complicated and your finished work will make you look like a pro!
This pattern should be fine for you as long as you know how to follow a basic pattern and know your basic stitches.
I personally love my poncho and wear it in the mornings when I collect eggs from my hens. It’s a good chill buster, perfect in the fall and winter. It’s also very cozy inside too. It’s perfect dressed up and down!
I made the sample using Red Heart super saver yarn and a Clover Amor hook. I have medium tension with no super loose stitches. This pattern should be fine to use any worsted weight yarn. You could use Caron Simply Soft for a more delicate looking piece that is a little lighter weight. in the pattern i give you a “gauge” to go by because this piece is customizable and you can tweak the size to fit anyone by following the guide in the pattern.
