I conceived and knit The Ceylon Series while cycling around on the island of Sri Lanka (formerly called Ceylon). They are a mock cable technique using increases and decreases rather than a cable needle. A lacy version for ‘her’ and solid version for ‘him’ can be made by reading the chart legend.

Ability to understand charts, work in the round, and increase and decrease stitches.

Laceweight/Light Fingering Version:
240-300m of 300m/50g light fingering yarn
3.5-4.0mm 40cm circular needle.
