Knit one, Change too

I’ve created this pattern for newbies who want to form local Craftivist Defarge groups.This pattern is the perfect first project for any knitter! You just cast on, join in the round and then repeat the knit stitch over and over until you run out of yarn. If you are attending a group a helpful knitter can start you off. If not, there are suggested links in the pattern for clear videos.

The purpose of Craftivist is threefold:

• enable self-care through crafting
• encourage real world meetings for craftivists
• provide specific,timely, manageable political actions.

We will provide links to resistance patterns but we are also about teaching newbies to knit so we will post very simple patterns too. We also give you resources for political action. We hope you will consider starting a small group in your hometown so we have created a customizable flyer for you as well.
