These socks are knitted top down. The rib and colorwork are worked flat using the intarsia method. Once the rib and chart are done, they are then joined and finished in the round.

Pattern calls for:

Yarn – Harrisville Designs Highland Yarns:
1 1⁄4 skein Tundra; 1⁄2 skein Wedgewood
1/8 skein each of White, Red, Oatmeal, Hemlock, Black, Cypress, Loden Blue

I used Knitpicks Wool of the Andes:
Ciel - 2 balls
Cloud - 1/4 ball
Gosling 1/4 ball
Jalapeño - 1/4 ball
Hollyberry - small amount ball
Coal - 1/4 ball
Midnight Heather - 1/4 ball
Mist - 1/4 ball
Fern - 3 balls
