Cowslip can be worked in Aran/Worsted Weight yarn using 3.5mm needles and will measure approximately 12 inches/31cm or double knit/lightweight worsted using 2.75mm needles and will measure approximately 10 inches/26cm. All this information is included on the pattern.

I used plain yarns but I’m sure he would look lovely in fuzzy or furry yarns, please adapt your needle size to suit. It’s important to remember to use a needle size 1 or 1.5 smaller than the ball band quotes when working toys.
