Cozy Baby Crochet Bunting Bag by Krista Craig

Cozy Baby Crochet Bunting Bag

Crochet
Aran (8 wpi) ?

I USED A HEAVY #4 YARN, AND A 6.5MM HOOK. Use a different yarn and/or hook to create larger or smaller bags. You can also add additional rows to make it bigger (notes within pattern).

A 400g Ball of James Brett Rustic With Wool Aran will leave you yarn left over for some matching accessories.

This is my first pattern. Please email me at klefortcraig@gmail.com if you have any questions :)

DC in next 8
(36 stitches)

ROWS 27-66 (or longer if you made a longer front panel. Make sure you allow room for the hood)
Chain 1, turn.
DC across
(36 stitches)

FASTEN OFF

  1. Sew top of hood together
  2. SC around entire outside 2 times for rounder corners SC 3 times in the corner stitches.
  3. Mark your button holes
  4. Sc around again, but skip a stitch and chain 2 instead at the button holes.
  5. Sc around one final time, then fasten off.
  6. Sew on buttons.

You can be done now, or you can line it. I used pre washed cotton flannel and blanket stitched it on. I ironed the hem on the flannel to make it clean and flat.
