After my baby graduated from his swaddle he needed something to take a cozy nap in during the winter. This sleep sack is easy to slide on and has lots of room for a baby to move his or her legs. I put this on him during the chilly morning as he plays in his swing or playmat.

This pattern has several increases to create a wider bottom - some babies just love to kick and wiggle. It also uses a 3 needle bind-of for a clean, crisp seam at the bottom.
