Sweater fits MEDIUM SIZED dogs!

I dedicate this pattern to the memory of our little Miniature Dachshund Lena, who was born October 23, 2004 and passed over the Rainbow Bridge on July 26, 2021. She was our joy, our blessing and my knitting muse. Although I originally named my shop to honor my grandmother Lena who taught me to knit when I was 4 years old, I’m rededicating it our sweet and precious little companion. She was … and will always be … much loved.

It was about time for me to design a snazzy new sweater for our little Lena who is our beautiful, patient, cooperative muse and model, so …

… I came up with this easy to knit cozy brioche sweater!

The sweater is knit flat and the front and back are seamed together. If you can cast on, knit, purl, yarn over, slip a stitch, knit 2 stitches together and bind off, you’ll find this an easy and quick knit.
