This is a traditional Buffalo Plaid Style Knit encouraging knitters to use 3 colors of Super Bulky Yarn! I updated this pattern in Dec. 2022 to include Baby & Child sizes so it’s all together now.

There are plenty of pictures for color inspiration along with suggestions on where to look for them.

I used Lion Brand Yarn Wool Ease T&Q but Malabrigo Rasta or any other Super Bulky yarn could probably be used. About a third to half of skein of each color yarn is used so approximately 50 yards of each. The gauge is listed by color blocks since 3 stitches by 3 stitches counts as a block.

Fits Small to Adult Sized heads. I have added a suggestion for making a child size. I also explain how to do floats since the whole body of the beanie is floats. There are two YouTube video links to see how to do these floats :-)
