With their relaxed cable design and simple construction, these cozy little pumpkins will be your go-to for fall decorating! They work up fast using less than one skein of yarn and are easily customizable to fit any setting.

Instructions are written for two sizes of pumpkin, noted in parentheses as (1,2). Size 1 is a wide, flat pumpkin (tan) and Size 2 is a taller, round pumpkin (cream). Size 1 is approximately 8” wide and 4” tall. Size 2 is approximately 7” wide and 6” tall.

These pumpkins are knit in the round from the bottom up, starting as a tube before being cinched at both ends and stuffed.

The cable pattern is a simple 10 row repeat with 9 normal rows and one cabling row.

Any 6.5mm circular needles or DPNs you would use for a hat will work great with this project.

Skills used: provisional cast on, knit, purl, knit through the back loop, and 3/3 left crossing cables.
