I actually made this sweater for my BTS Mattel doll. It slightly shorter in height, but I guess have same body size as regular Ken doll. This sweater will also fit barbie and any 1:6 doll. I already try it on male Ever After High, Barbie curvy, and Kitbash Hot Toys too.
This pattern using simple stockinette and ribbing, working flat for the body and in the round for the sleeves, pick-up, basic decrease, minimal seaming, and a small section of Kitchener’s stitch.
I made this in one size only. If you want a bigger size, try experimenting with bigger yarn and needles.
The samples knitted in 7 grams of wool yarn. For the second sample that used heavier yarn (cotton), it spent 15 grams of yarn. But both spent not so different amount of meters.
Feel free to use any fingering yarn that suited for 2.25 - 2.75 mm knitting needle.
What you need are = Fingering weight yarn (will need a very small amount, so feel free using your leftovers from your previous project), 2.5 mm as main needle, crochet hook for pick up, tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
