This pattern is adjustable as I tell you at which points you should increase or decrease to make the triangles bigger or smaller, and also to make the joins between the triangles bigger or smaller.

You can use any yarn and the gauge is not really important as it’s not meant to be worn by a person. :)

To make yours exactly like mine you will need DK yarn in red, green and white.
5mm hook
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
Scissors

You will also need pins and something to block on for clocking them into shape. I used foam play mats but there are many blocking surfaces out there.
