This requires both cardboard structuring and crochet overlays. Some of the elements are given as options and there are also suggestions for different seasons and holidays where a fireplace might be used.

There is a basis material list as well as an optional material list, table of contents, notes and detailed instructions for most parts. Detailed instructions are for creating the cardboard structure and all crocheted covers for it. The cardboard will not be visible. Please read through the instructions thoroughly before going too far since the options for personalization will be described within the section so you may want to know how you would like to do it before jumping in!
