Yarn:
The original yarn used in the pattern: Troitskaya Selena 2 balls (100% sheeps wool) 3.52 oz/175 yds (100 gm/160 mt). This yarn is of Russian production and it is unlikely that this yarn can be found in Europe or the USA. But I give the most similar yarn analogues with links to online stores.
