Cozy Circle Crossbody
It’s a hot summer day and you’re pining for a cool fall breeze to blow by, and colorful leaves to line the ground. Pumpkin spice is hitting the grocery shelves and invading your drink menus. All you can think of is being cozy and wrapped up in a blanket, but it’s too hot to wear a sweater, even at midnight. You pull out your Cozy Circle Crossbody for the perfect cozy feeling, even when the weather kills the vibes. Show off your creative skills, regardless of the season, with a purse you made completely by hand.
Notions
- Stitch Marker for marking the beginning of round

- All-purpose thread that coordinates with your yarn choice
- Sewing needle for hand sewing
- Straight pins or clips for holding the pieces together while you sew 2 D rings (size 1-3/16”, 1-¼”, or 30 mm)
- 14-inch or 35.5 cm zipper
- Crossbody strap that can hook to the D rings
- Fabric scissors or a rotary cutter
- Iron and ironing board for attaching the interfacing and pressing seams if desired

You do not need a sewing machine to make this purse! My first 2 attempts were made completely by hand using a running stitch for everything. A sewing machine will be faster of course, but anyone can make the purse. The purse is constructed in a way to hide most of the stitching, so you do not need to be a perfectionist to have a beautiful purse.
