Cozy Coat
This Cozy Coat was inspired by the Cowichan style sweaters that our Great Aunt knit years and years ago and that we are still wearing to this day! We love knitting for our children and this is the perfect little sweater for Spring and Fall because it’s quite chilly where we live in Northern Alberta, Canada.
The sweater you see in the picture was knit using a 6 stranded carded unspun wool
Approx. 230 meters of main color (300-330 m for large) and 60-90 meters of the 2 contrasting colors.
Gauge: With 7mm CO 10sts and 10 rows worked in stockinette should measure 3.75” long by 3” high.
This 15 page pattern includes not only the Owl that you see in the picture, but 7 interchangeable back panel graphs including a rocketship, robot, paw prints, penguin, whale, cat, and a blank graph for you to design your own.
There are customizable sleeves and front panels as well… we bet you won’t be able to knit just one!
Happy Knitting!
