Wrap yourself in warm toasty style with this simple cocoon wrap, and wear it with leggings or jeans. Choose brioche or offset rib for your texture, and knit a simple rectangle to transform with two straight seams. An aran or chunky weight wool will keep you warm and stylish while holding its shape all season.

Finished dimensions:
20 inches wide x 60 inches long, before seaming
Make your cocoon larger or smaller by adjusting the length of your rectangle. Knit until it wraps around your body with the desired amount of slouchy ease for your shape.

Materials:
800 yards aran or light-chunky weight yarn
size 9, 24” circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge

Gauge for brioche version: (gray sample)
10 stitches to 4 inches in brioche stitch

Gauge for offset rib version: (plum sample)
18 stitches to 4 inches in offset rib stitch
