This pattern was created to teach my beginning knitting classes. It’s a very simple ‘knit in the round’ pattern in which anyone, even first time knitters can knit without frustration.
Pattern requires the following skills: knitting
Yarn
Approximately 150yds of a bulky weight yarn.
Yarn used: A Tree Huggers Wife ‘Big One’ (100%
U.S. merino wool; 175yds/160m per 3.53oz/100g skein)
Needles
6.5 mm/U.S. size 10.5 24” knitting needles or needle to obtain gauge.
Notions
Yarn needle.
Gauge
3 sts = 4” (10cm) in garter stitch.
Finished Measurements
23” circumference and 11” in depth.

CO = Cast On
k = knit
