COZY COWL - is a unisex, one size fits all, hands free, very practical layering accessory to keep your neck cozy and warm on those cool days and or blustery nights. For those who do not like wearing traditional long scarves, this fits the bill. Throw it on and forget about it. You will not notice you are wearing it but the warmth it provides will be noticeable. Wear them indoors or out. In a pinch, tighten up the cord stopper and wear it as a hat.
It is worked seamless from the top down, all in one piece construction. It has a fold over ribbed hem casing in order to insert a cord through. As far as the body of the cowl goes, anything goes. Knit plain with fancy yarns or knit fancy with plain yarns. Add texture, cables, stripes, colourwork etc, be creative and have fun with it.
OPTIONS - add a purchased cord (crocheted, twisted cord, I cord), leather or fabric label and cord stopper or make your own. Otherwise, tie a bow and be done with it. Quick and easy to make.
